WHY DO YOU TRAIN?

A simple question, but likely many answers. Sadly all too often with my PT clients its purely for the aesthetics. Of course, that’s a wonderful bonus of training but I’ll tell you what’s better than that…having a goal that is performance driven. Now THAT’S something that will really set your soul on fire. Having a goal that’s to improve in doing something you love? GOLD DUST. We’re talking long term FIRE in your belly!

For me? I want to be a better climber! I love climbing (can you tell?! 😂). I love how it feels when you climb something you never thought possible. Putting training into action. Literally accomplishing new heights. Aspiring to new ventures. When I climb I’m forever saying “just one more climb before I go”, why? because I bloomin’ love it! Once you find something you love, it won’t feel like something you “have” to do. You want to do it!

Recently I’ve been training hard at the gym and in my yoga practice…the most rewarding thing? My climbing has progressed way quicker than before as a result. Hitting the pinks @climbinghangarlondon gave me that sense of accomplishment. The best thing? This is just the start of the adventure! Try new things, find out what makes you giddy inside with excitement, do a lot of it. Progress and feel results that go far beyond looks.
